Way Station offers a variety of field placements in community mental health. We provide professional student supervision from highly qualified staff with diverse educational and professional backgrounds.

Opportunities for students might include working with individuals, groups, organizations, and communities. Students might also have the opportunity to work with professionals from other disciplines, such as nursing, psychiatry, and social work, by participating in multidisciplinary meetings.

Students learn how to enhance the quality of life of individuals with mental illness and/or intellectual disabilities, and help these individuals develop to their fullest potential.

Way Station provides challenging, rewarding learning experiences and the development of numerous skills that will assist students in their professional lives.
