MST is an intensive family and community based treatment program that addresses the multiple factors of serious anti-social behaviors in juvenile offenders. Behaviors could include verbal aggression, physical aggression, theft, truancy, substance use, and curfew violations. Goals are to provide caregivers with the skills and resources they need to deal with problematic behaviors.
- Services are provided in the home, school, neighborhood, and community
- MST Therapists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Length of treatment averages 3-5 months
- Currently only the Frederick County and Washington County Departments of Juvenile Services and Social Services may refer a youth age 12-17.8 to the MST program
